A bit amazed
by just how strong of a motivator anger/sadness can be…
I was once told that Life is all about the attitude you have when faced with difficult problems. I understand it now. My life motto has been “always look on the sunny side because it can’t rain forever.” This quote was authored by someone I’ve known my whole life more or less who has absolutely no idea how much of an impact these words carried the day he said it. In translation, it means that no matter how bad things may be, keep a positive attitude and things will always work themselves out.
One of the things I’ve learned recently is that friendships truly are subject to the test of time. People you used to see every day are seen less often as years pass, but the ones who still keep contact with you after many years are the ones to hold onto, and tightly at that.
